The Department of Transformation and Shared Services (TSS) was established in 2019 following the passage of Act 910 for the purpose of creating a more efficient government through exceptional delivery of service and collaboration across state government. Act 205 of 2025 changed the name to the Department of Shared Administrative Services to better reflect the agency’s purpose and mission.
