How do I submit changes to PROPERTY and/or CONTENTS (adding / deleting / moving)?

Can I make a PARTIAL PAYMENT of my invoice?

All invoices are due in full upon receipt.

Will I receive a separate INVOICE for every PROPERTY CHANGE or only at Renewal?

Invoicing will be processed for July 1 Renewal and January (need date) for one Mid-Year “catch-up” of property values.

How can I get a copy of my CURRENT PROPERTY SCHEDULE?

What is an EVIDENCE of PROPERTY INSURANCE (EPI) certificate, and how do I request one? Also referred to as “Evidence of Insurance (EOI)” or “Certificate of Insurance (COI)”.

  • EPI certificates show the level of property insurance and verify that current coverage is in place.
    • Common instances EPI is requested:
      • equipment rental/lease
      • building lease
      • fine art loaned for exhibit
  • Forward any contract documents to [email protected] for review
  • For Buildings: provide physical address of leased location.
  • For Contents: if high-value contents are included, provide an itemized list (excel spreadsheet preferred) with individual and total values.
  • Provide shipping dates for items in transit.
  • Allow 3-5 business days for processing.
Can I request a PROPERTY VALUATION? What about a COMPLETE REAPPRAISAL?

    • OPR will contact you to schedule any walk-throughs.

LOSS PREVENTION (LP) inspection questions?

OPR schedules inspections on a rotational basis.

  • When contacted by our staff, please provide verified contact information for the person who will be available to provide entry to all buildings on the day(s) of inspection.
Need to schedule or have questions about a BOILER INSPECTION?
  • Hartford will take care of the scheduling. You no longer need to call for an inspection.
  • Boiler and/or pressure vessel inspections are conducted through Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company (HSB)
