Enforcement Agent II
The Enforcement Agent II is a certified law enforcement officer within The DFA Regulatory Enforcement Division. The Enforcement Agent II possesses statewide law enforcement jurisdiction with primary responsibility for regulatory and criminal violations relating to alcohol, tobacco, and medical marijuana. The Enforcement Agent II is a first line field supervisor who oversees a team of 5-7 Enforcement Agent I's in tobacco and alcohol compliance operations, inspections and related investigations. The Enforcement Agent II also directs Enforcement Agent I's in overt and covert work environments ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and agency policies within a designated jurisdictional framework. The Enforcement Agent II also addresses complaints by safeguarding community standards and public safety while fostering a culture of accountability and adherence to state law and agency policy. The Enforcement Agent II has demonstrated proficiencies in preparation of required documentation and mentors and develops Special Agent I's. The Enforcement Agent II interacts effectively with varied audiences, including community members, business owners, and governmental bodies.
