EEO/Grievance Specialist
The EEO/Grievance Specialist is responsible for managing employee grievances and ensuring compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws. This role involves conducting investigations, resolving complaints, and providing guidance on discrimination and harassment issues.

Special Job Requirements:
Typical Functions:
Investigate and resolve employee grievances related to discrimination, harassment, and workplace issues. Ensure compliance with state and federal EEO laws and regulations. Provide training on EEO policies and grievance procedures. Prepare reports on investigation findings and recommendations for management. Advise managers and employees on EEO-related matters.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:
In-depth knowledge of EEO laws and grievance procedures. Strong investigative and conflict resolution skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. At least two years of experience in EEO or grievance management. Satisfaction of the minimum qualifications, including years of experience and service, does not entitle employees to automatic progression within the job series. Promotion to the next classification level is at the discretion of the department and the Office of Personnel Management, taking into consideration the employee’s demonstrated skills, competencies, performance, workload responsibilities, and organizational needs.
