Ammonia & Industrial Trainer

The Ammonia & Industrial Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering training programs focused on industrial maintenance and ammonia refrigeration systems. This role involves creating curriculum, conducting hands-on training sessions, assessing students' progress, and ensuring that students acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively maintain and operate industrial equipment and ammonia refrigeration systems. The trainer collaborates with industry partners, educational agencies, educational institutions, and employers in an attempt to ensure that training programs meet industry standards and workforce needs.

Typical Functions:

Develop and implement comprehensive training programs on industrial maintenance and ammonia refrigeration systems. Create and update curriculum materials, including lesson plans, training manuals, and assessment tools. Conduct hands-on training sessions, demonstrations, and workshops designed to teach students how to maintain and operate industrial equipment and ammonia refrigeration systems. Assess students’ progress through evaluations, tests, and practical assessments, providing feedback and support for improvement. Ensure that training programs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices. Maintain accurate records of training activities, student progress, and certification achievements. Collaborate with industry partners, educational agencies, educational institutions, and employers to identify training needs and then develop customized training solutions. Stay current with the latest developments and trends in industrial maintenance and ammonia refrigeration technology. Provide mentorship and support to students, helping them develop their skills and knowledge. Organize and coordinate training schedules, resources, and materials to ensure the smooth delivery of training programs.

Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Patience and empathy in working with students and providing support. Proficiency in using training software and educational technology tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance and ammonia refrigeration, including hands-on experience with maintenance and operation of ammonia refrigeration systems. Comprehensive knowledge of industrial maintenance principles, practices, and technologies. Strong understanding of ammonia refrigeration systems, including safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Ability to work effectively with students, including entry-level workers and experienced professionals. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices and advancements.
