When a buyer receives a Purchase Requisition (PR), what parts of it should he or she review to ensure a clear understanding of the purchasing need? This class will cover the concepts of how to review a PR to initiate a solicitation, how to determine if it should result in a PO or an OA, checking for existing contracts, understanding purchasing authority, and determining the appropriate procurement method.
